I fell in love while fishing (74 x 114 cm)

When I was little and we went on vacation to the beach, my brother and I would sit and fish, with no purpose other than being together, at the tip of the boat my dad had.

We didn't know anything about fishing, but we learned about patience.

While the fish approached the hook, I would get distracted watching the sun turn into a glimmer on the water. Golden glitter over turquoise. That is how fishing captivated me, even though I never fished again. I fell in love with the sea. With the sun caressing the sea.
