For those who carry Venezuela in their accent, in their kitchen, and in their suitcase. This is Gumercinda, the macaw that stole a bag of flour from my neighbor. That day, it rained flour all over Caracas, and there are stories that cross the ocean with us. This is one of them.

    First it was a painting. A hand-painted macaw, with its bag of flour.

    Then I digitized it, taking care of every brushstroke so that the piece would preserve the texture and color of the original painting.
