about
My primary means of expression is color; I like to paint it, wear it, and eat it. Color allows me to tell stories, my own and those of others.
My creative process is based on what I call chromatic empiricism, a constant search to translate my experiences, emotions, thoughts, ideas, and stories through a vibrant and evocative palette. I paint on furniture, canvases, and venture onto various surfaces, always seeking for each piece to tell its own story and reflect a fragment of my inner world, which is lively and full of plants.
My art is deeply influenced by my life experiences around the world. My artistic perspective has been nurtured by living in different countries and cultures. However, the tropical and Caribbean imagery hold a special place in my heart and in my work. The warmth, exuberance, and intensity of these regions resonate in my colors and compositions, creating an intimate connection with nature, warmth, and the joy of living.
Through my work, I seek to awaken emotions, stimulate the imagination, and offer a unique sensory experience, what I like to call a chromatic journey.
Thank you for visiting this, my virtual home. Here you will find a piece of me, which you can make your own as well.
And now, let’s travel.
Chromatic empiricism is my artistic approach, exploring color as a way to connect with the emotional and the sensory. Reliving moments or experiencing them for the first time.
Through my paintings and texts, I seek to capture not just the appearance of lived moments, but their essence: the way in which color has transformed my perception of the world.
My works are born from deep observation, where color becomes a language that transcends the visual. Each tone and reflection aims to activate memories, emotions, and sensations.
For me, color is more than an aesthetic element; it is a bridge between what we see and what we feel.
